There's a reason Joshua 1:9 has stayed with people for thousands of years.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
It's not a suggestion. It's not encouragement wrapped in a soft voice. It's a command — direct, urgent, and personal. God spoke those words to Joshua on the edge of the impossible, and somehow they land the same way today.
Why We Put It on a Tee
At Dark Chieftain, we don't make apparel for people who play it safe. What Joshua Was Facing
Moses — the man who led Israel out of Egypt, parted the Red Sea, and received the Law — was dead. And Joshua was next. He was being asked to lead an entire nation into territory they'd never claimed, against people they had every reason to fear. The weight of that moment is hard to overstate.
And yet: be strong. Don't be afraid. I'm with you.
God didn't give Joshua a strategy first. He gave him courage first. The plan follows the faith.
